Antique Hand-Painted Patch Box With Artist Initials & Blue Marks

Stunning hand-painted antique patch box which bears the artist initials of Y.C. in gold script along the left outer edge.  The artist has used a soft wash of colors for the top and accented the middle portion with gold leaves. The unglazed bottom shows what look like two interlinked L’s in blue with the number 53 or possibly y 3 underneath–it is hard to decipher.  Inside is clean and the color shows a slight blue cast to the white porcelain.  There is no mirror. Fantastic condition this one! Measures approx. 2 1/4″ in diameter and just a hair over 1 inch high.
